Cytozyme Laboratories recently announce the addition of Francisco Manzano as the new Managing Director of Sales & Marketing. He will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting current growth initiatives aimed at expanding Cytozyme’s global presence.

“When I was invited to participate in Cytozyme’s selection process for the Managing Director of Sales & Marketing position I became really excited,” said Manzano. “Their passion to improve people’s quality of life through the use of responsible technology resonated perfectly with my own passion and beliefs.”

Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Manzano has a strong sales and marketing background in both large and small business environments. He has undergraduate degrees from the University of Seville, Spain in Economics, and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Marketing. He also earned an MBA from Colorado State University.

Since graduation, Manzano has been employed by Dannon in Spain, and in 2006 he moved to the USA to work for Sumitomo Chemical-owned subsidiary MGK where he quickly progressed from a sales role to managing the international business department. During his time at MGK, he developed strong relationships with specialty crop distributors and growers around the world which contributed to his success.

Manzano will also be responsible for managing Cytozyme’s Business Managers living and working in South Asia, South East Asia, North East Asia, Central America, South America, and the Andean Region of South America and will report directly to the CEO of Cytozyme, Eric Baughman.

“I am confident Francisco will bring a great deal of knowledge and valuable expertise to lead our growing global sales team,” said Baughman. “His international experience and passion in the field of agriculture, marketing, and sales development are expected to bring significant contributions to Cytozyme’s continued global growth initiatives and ongoing business development strategies. We are excited to welcome Francisco to our team.”
