UPL’s SAAF fungicide - disease clean solution for Chinese farmers

IndiaUPL Limited sponsored a nation-wide forum for farmers to discuss one of its key fungicide brands, SAAF (mancozeb + carbendazim, 75% WP) in Nanfeng, Jiangxi Province, China. Farmers and retailers from various provinces met with trade and plant production experts during a two-day program that involved field visits and a seminar.
SAAF has emerged as a key brand for UPL in China in recent years. SAAF is more than a product, it is a solution. The UPL China team explained that SAAF is unique, as it provides systemic and contact action, which not only protects and cures diseases in fruits and vegetables, but is also responsible for increases in yields. SAAF also has greatly superior rain-fast properties due to its patented manufacturing technology, which makes it a better choice against fungicides in both similar and different chemistries. It is safe and easy for farmers to use, and the results are easy to evaluate.
Also, unlike some new chemistries, it does not develop resistance due to its multi-site action. That is the reason why SAAF is able to command a premium brand image and acceptance in the field, despite stiff competition from similar types of products.
In addition to this, the popular crop based, experts-farmer interactions, which started in February this year, will also continue in the coming months for various crops and in different locations, the details of which will be released shortly by UPL.
