Dow AgroSciences lowered Dimension specialty herbicide’s price

Dow AgroSciences has lowered the price on all formulations of Dimension specialty herbicide, including Dimension 2EW, Dimension Ultra 40WP and Dimension on fertilizer. In addition, Dow AgroSciences has also made price changes to Eagle 20EW specialty fungicide.

"In these tough economic times, getting quality products at an affordable price is critical for our customers,” says Mark Urbanowski, senior marketing specialist with Dow AgroSciences. “By combining cash back from the Power of MORE program with these price adjustments, end-users will gain even more value from these quality, branded products.”

The Power of MORE allows users of Dow AgroSciences turf and ornamental herbicides, fungicides and insecticides to earn cash rebates on product purchases made Sept. 1, 2009, through Aug. 31, 2010. The more a customer purchases, the more they earn in rebates. There are more than 50 participating products, including Dimension specialty herbicide and Eagle 20EW, that earn cash rebates for every unit purchased.

In addition to being more cost-effective, Dimension provides pre-emergence and early post-emergence control of crabgrass, and season-long control of crabgrass, goosegrass, spurge and Poa annua. With multiple formulations, including the water-based Dimension 2EW, Dimension can be used over the top of field- and container-grown nursery and landscape ornamentals, and in established lawns; golf course fairways, roughs and tee boxes; and commercial sod farms without staining surroundings.

Eagle 20EW is a liquid systemic fungicide for preventive and curative control of roughly 20 turf-destroying diseases, including dollar spot and brown patch. With its new, lower price, and convenient, easy-to-use containers, Eagle is ideal for turf and ornamentals maintenance, including lawns, golf courses, ornamentals and backyard fruit trees.
