During the crops cycle, heat and drought stress can negatively affect plants, especially during the flowering period when plants are more susceptible to stress events, leading to the decrease of the final yield. Stress-related metabolic imbalances due to adverse environmental conditions, will lead to poor plant development, reduction in both quantity and quality of the harvest. As a result, there is an high probability of low income for farmers operating on such kind of agricultural environment.

Under the WIN (Worldwide Innovation Network) project, Biolchim performed with its international partners numerous studies and trials in several parts of the world, and thus in different environmental conditions, with the product FYLLOTON.

FYLLOTON is a growth bio-promoter, based on vegetal amino acids and seaweed extracts that protect plant structures from the damage caused by abiotic stress such as drought and high temperatures. In addition, the product boosts the physiological plant activity to promote the accumulation of starch and proteins. FYLLOTON is composed of ingredients of plant origin only and is permissible for use in organic agriculture.

With FYLLOTON, Biolchim can offer to farmers a customized and effective strategy to limit the side effects of both drought and heat stress, stimulate plant metabolism and promote a quick return to the normal physiological conditions. This rapid recovery enables plants to contain and mitigate damage caused by adverse conditions situations and to increase the quantity and overall quality of the production.
