DuPont Pioneer has announced the launch of the genetically-modified super-young cultivar 95Y52 for tolerance to glyphosate and the soybean cyst nematode. The seed, classified as “high productive potential”, is recommended for planting in Southern Brazil.

Besides this cultivar, DuPont Pioneer has announced two more products that will be part of the portfolio for the summer season 2016/2017. Those are the super-young corn hybrid P2866H and the early P3271H – both with high productive potential and recommended for planting in the south of Brazil, besides being available at the Herculex®I version.

In addition, this summer season DuPont Pioneer will announce the commercialization of most of its hybrids with the Leptra technology against insects, which is the association of technologies Agrisure Viptera®, YieldGard®, Herculex® and LivertyLink®. In Brazil, Leptra® technology is also available in version tolerant to the herbicide glyphosate, containing the Roundup Ready ™ Corn 2 technology. Due to its wide spectrum, the Leptra® technology is recommended to control the major caterpillars that attack corn.
