Glufosinate technical upgrade completed, Lier Chemical’s net profit 50% up in 2015

During the report period, the company endeavored to make more market exploration, which resulted in increased sales incomes while cost was put under control. Pesticide income reached Yuan 1.46 billion, 11.8% up year on year, of which technical material income increased 13.26% up to Yuan 884 million and formulations income increased 6.08% up to Yuan 477 million.
In 2015, Lier Chemical completed the glufosinate technical upgrade project as planned, which has been brought to full-load production. The company has presently got an annual capacity of about 3,000 tons of glufosinate technical. Meanwhile the Guang’an Lier’s annual 10,000-ton glufosinate intermediate amino-nitrile project has obtained environmental impact assessment approval, where the application for pesticide production permit is currently under the way. Additionally, Lier Chemical’s Jiangsu Subsidiary Kuaida Agrochemicals has competed its 2nd stage pesticide and intermediate resettlement and upgrade project, with napropamide having been put into pilot production.
In 2016, Lier Chemical is determined to make progress in the ongoing projects. The company will upgrade the glufosinate technical production line in its Mianyang base which will reach an annual capacity of 5,000 tons, and will start construction of an annual 1,000-ton aminopyralid production line. In the meantime, effort will be made to make a significant progress in the construction of the annual 10,000-ton glufosinate intermediate amino-nitrile project in its Guang’an base.
