Brazil: Adama obtains extension of registration of Poquer® and Vezir®

Adama has obtained an extension of registration of two herbicides that compose the portfolio of the company. Poquer® is a systemic herbicide that controls a wide range of annual and perennial grasses, including those resistant to glyphosate, such as the resistant sourgrass, ryegrass and volunteer corn.

Already registered for the crops such as cotton, garlic, potato, coffee, onion, carrot, kidney beans, tobacco, manioc, watermelon, tomato and soybeans, now the herbicide will also be available for the crops of sunflower, apple, corn, wheat and grape. Besides the expansion of crop, the registration should include the product at the modality of application on pre-planting and sequential on cotton and soybeans.

Vezir® is post-emergent herbicide, systemic, selective for the crops of kidney beans and soybeans, which controls weeds in a wide spectrum. From now on, this product can also be used in aerial spraying mode for these crops and now attends the irrigated rice in both modalities of application, aerial and ground.
