AgroPages-Australia to approve Sumitomo Chemical's aviator xpro foliar fungicde-Agricultural news

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) proposes to approve Sumitomo Chemical Australia's Aviator Xpro Foliar Fungicide,containing new active ingredient bixafen at 75 g/L and the existing active ingredient prothioconazole at 150 g/L, for the control and/or suppression of foliar diseases in barley, oats, triticale, wheat and canola. APVMA has opened the public comments for 28 days until April 20, 2016.

Bixafen is a carboxamide fungicide belonging to the sub-class of the pyrazole-carboxamides, a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor of fungal pathogens.
