Basf launches Biathlron 4D in Spain

GermanyBasf has introduced in Madrid its new solution for the broadleaf weeds in Spain. The product is called Biathlron 4D. The name was motivated by the four dimensions that protect cereals and its broad use spectrum independently of the climate conditions, according to the company.
Biathlron combines two active ingredients (Tritosulfuron and florasulam) for a maximum effectiveness allowing a wide period of application, since the growth stage until the total development of stems and the leaves.
The formulation brings a consistent control under changing climate conditions, according to Basf. The product can be absorbed and be maintained active at different temperatures which allows the farmer to choose the most convenient application time. Another claimed advantage is the compatibility with herbicides, growth regulators and fungicides without presenting problems with more safety.
