Albaugh subsidiary completed the acquisition of FMC’s Consagro in Brazil

Atanor do Brasil Ltda., the local subsidiary of Albaugh, LLC in Brazil, has completed closing on the acquisition of Consagro Agroquímica Ltda., the post-patent crop protection subsidiary of FMC Corporation in Brazil. The acquisition was approved by the Brazilian competition authorities, CADE, in November. Closing of the acquisition allows for the immediate introduction of the Consagro product portfolio in the market by Atanor do Brasil Ltda.
Albaugh is headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa and is an established supplier of post-patent crop protection products to customers around the world, with manufacturing facilities in United States, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Europe.
