Agrovista UK acquires Ebbage Seeds

The UK’s agronomy firms Agrovista UK Limited, recently announced the acquisition of John Ebbage Seeds Limited, the leading independent seed wholesaler and breeders agent in the UK seed industry.

The purchase will allow the two businesses to combine existing technical expertise and provide growers and clients with a full agronomic package from variety selection through to end-market focus.  This strategic development will provide future security for Ebbage seeds and allow them to continue to support existing clients within the current structure and also develop new customers with specific agronomic needs. The synergy between the two parts of the business will allow for enhanced technical capability and give access to new and emerging market sectors and provide new solutions to UK growers facing challenging situations.   

Commenting on the announcement Paul Nickerson, owner of John Ebbage Seeds Limited said: “This strategic move will benefit both businesses and their customers allowing for technical development and investment in the seeds sector and offering important opportunities for growth.
