DuPont launches new PrecisionPac 3.0 dispensing system

DuPont Crop Protection announced the launch of DuPont™ PrecisionPac® 3.0 herbicides, a completely re-designed delivery system that dispenses high-performing customized herbicide blends.
According to Rob McClinton, Product Manager for DuPont™ PrecisionPac® herbicides, the new PrecisionPac® 3.0 machine incorporates the latest technology that provides a step change in dispensing speed and further enables growers to tackle their individual field challenges.
"Most crop protection products are sold in packaged 40-acre increments, leaving leftover herbicide and packaging to dispose of," says McClinton. "With PrecisionPac®, a grower can purchase a tailored blend to treat, for example, 132 acres. This saves money, reduces unnecessary packaging and decreases the risk of application errors."
With all of these benefits, demand for customized solutions has grown significantly. To address the growing market need DuPont has now developed PrecisionPac® 3.0 technology. The new 3.0 model is better in every way, incorporating simultaneous product metering for 3 times faster dispensing, a simpler, faster and more intuitive user interface and the ability to wirelessly troubleshoot in real time. The new PrecisionPac® 3.0 dispensing system is a dramatic improvement on a revolutionary technology.
Retailers and growers who liked PrecisionPac® herbicides before will see even greater benefits from this new technology. "We expect that the speed, convenience and customization of PrecisionPac® 3.0 will attract a lot of interest and acres in 2016," says McClinton.
