AgroPages-US EPA to grant Monsanto's MON87751 soybeans-Agricultural news

The US EPA has proposed the registration of Monsanto's genetically modified insect-resistant MON87751 soybeans for seed production purposes. MON 87751 contains a new active ingredient, Cry1A.105 and Cry2Ab2 proteins, and is proposed for use as a plant-incorporated protectant to control lepidopteran soybean pests for seed increase only. The agency has opened the public comments from Apr 2 to Apr 17, 2015.
