Canada confirms the registration of Dow’s herbicide isoxaben

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has confirmed the continued registration of Dow’s herbicide GALLERY® T&V 75WDG (isoxaben) for sale and use in Canada, after an evaluation of available scientific information suggesting isoxaben do not present unacceptable risks to human health or the environment. PMRA proposed the continued registration in June. Isoxaben is a selective pre-emergent herbicide that belongs to the benzamide group. It is currently registered for control of certain broadleaf weeds in conifer, ornamentals and nurseries in Canada.
