Brazil prioritizes agchem registration for corn earwormqrcode

Considering the phytosanitary emergency on corn earworm (Helicoverpa armigera) declared by Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, the government will prioritize the registration procedures for products that control this pest. The decision was published at the Official Gazette through that act No. 60 this Thursday.
 
To validate the claims of the analysis priority, companies should send related documents and studies to Pesticide General Coordination, according to the prevailing regulations, by December 5th.
 
According to the act No. 60, the registered products for the corn, soybeans, and cotton crops will have the biological control products prioritized. The products are based on active ingredients such as VPN-HzSNPV virus, Bacillus thuringiensis, Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, as well as clorantraniliprole, clorfenapyr, indoxacarb, acephate, methomyl, methoxyfenozide, and thiodicarb.
