ORO AGRI International is to expand its European team with the appointment of Tim Buchheim as Business Development and Technical Support Manager for Germany and Europe Central zone.

This new role, reporting to General Manager Europe, Carol Pullen, will involve managing product development trials and assisting with dossier writing for Germany and central zones along with providing technical and market support.

“I am very excited to be forming part of the European team of Oro Agri,” says Tim who joined the company in November. “ It will provide me with the opportunity to support retailers and farmers throughout the region in using the great products that are available from Oro Agri. I will also be supporting the development of new products which will come on stream in the future.”

With over 13 years experience in the agrochemical and biological sectors Tim has specialized in registration trials efficacy evaluation, technical support and registrations. Previously he was employed as a regulatory scientist leading the efficacy expert team at the international consultancy TSGE Deutschland GmbH; organizing the preparation of Biological Assessment Dossiers and supporting clients in all areas concerning the efficacy evaluation for registration purposes. Prior to that he was Study Director for GEP efficacy and GLP residue trials at the contract research organization – Field Research Support. His career started at GAB Biotechnology GmbH (now Eurofins Agroscience) where he was responsible for GLP Non-target arthropod studies. He graduated from the University of Hannover with a degree in Agriculture and Horticulture.
