Brazil will have another agchem container recycling plant built by the National Institute of Empty Packages Processing (inpEV), which maintains the "Clean Field System".

With a cost of $10 million, the facility will be built in Tabaté, state of São Paulo, where inpEV already has facilities since 2008. The first plant cost some R$45 million (US$20 million) to date and doubling recycling capacity to some 9,000 tonnes a year.

Concerns over the ability of the facility to keep pace with the growing recycling efforts in the country have led to the intention to add a plant, according to Mário Fujii, logistics manager at inpEV. He noted that 94% of pesticides containers has been recycled last year, and the goal is to recycle the remaining 6%.
