Ihara introduces POTTENTE to fight sugarcane nematodes in Brazil

Agrochemical manufacturer Ihara has launched nematicide POTTENTE to combat nematodes and worms that harm the sugarcane at 10th edition of Insectshow (Seminar about pest control on sugarcane) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Ihara's Nematicide comes to the market at the right time, since dry weather time leads to lots of nematodes damages. "The launch of POTTENTE was very well received by the present customers", said Rodrigo Jaimes, market development consultant of Ihara.
POTTENTE had a great acceptance among the cane mills and the consultant at the event, so that main novelty was in its effective in controlling nematodes Pratylenchus and Meloidogyne. This product can promote gains of up to 30% to 50%, depending on population levels and the species present in the field.
In addition, the formula does not suffer interaction with urea-based herbicides, therefore not causing phytotoxicity on crops. When applied, it stays very well distributed, which makes nozzles of the equipment not obstructed, thus increasing performance.
