Brazil's National Institute for Processing Empty Containers (inPEV) presented the "Clean Field System" to delegations of seven countries in South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Paraguay) that represent organizations related to the farm business. The purpose is to understand the functioning of the "Clean Field System", which is an innovative system to recycle empty agrochemicals packages.

The delegation learned about the "Clean Field Recycling and Transformation of Plastics S.A." in a factory in Taubaté (state of São Paulo) that operates according to the concepts of eco-efficiency. This factory develops new recycling technologies, and has the goal of ending the cycle of agrochemical packages post-consumption and to foster economic self-sufficiency field clean system.

The president of the institute, João Cesar M. Rando, introduced the flow of the Clean Field System, from the entrance of empty packages at the receiving units to the final disposal (recycling and incineration). The residue are received, inspection and material classification, separation of packages by type (Coex, Pead Mono, metal, cardboard), and the issue of compression were also included.
