AgroPages-EU sets the purity of methyl nonyl ketone-Agricultural news

The European Commission has set a minimum purity of active ingredient methyl nonyl ketone at 985g/kg. The amendment follows analysis of the confirmatory information submitted by the applicant. Member States shall amend existing authorizations by January 1st 2015, and grace period granted to use up existing stock shall expire on January 3rd 2016. As a repellent, methyl nonyl ketone was included in Annex I on September 1st 2009.
