AgroPages-Otsuka's cyflumetofen in Japan-Agricultural news

Japanese company Otsuka (Osaka) has launched its acaricide, Danisaraba (cyflumetofen), in Japan, for use on fruit trees, vegetables, tea and ornamentals. This represents the first global introduction of the product. Sales started in November, following approval in October, as expected.

The product is a 20% suspension concentrate. Cyflumetofen is an acylacetonitrile acaricide with contact action against adult mites and eggs of spider mites. Otsuka is preparing registration applications for South America, the EU and some other Asian countries.
