Dow AgroSciences to launch Arylex™ herbicide

"The whole industry has been responsive about using multiple active ingredients as a resistant management tool," Smith said. "That’s one reason Arylex won’t be sold on its own—it will be paired with other active ingredients to heighten resistance management."
Arylex is the first member of a new structural class of synthetic auxin herbicides. Smith said the molecule will be classified as a Group 4 herbicide, the same category as 2,4-D and dicamba. It will be labelled for a variety of broadleaf weed species, he added.
