BASF launches Empress Intrinsic brand fungicide

BASF Empress Intrinsic brand fungicide(pyraclostrobin) has received supplemental labeling from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use on herbaceous and woody plants in greenhouse, nursery container and field production in New York.

Empress Intrinsic brand fungicide, with active ingredient pyraclostrobin, provides protection against four root and crown disease pathogens: fusarium, phytophthora, pythium and rhizoctonia.

Both third-party and BASF research shows Intrinsic brand fungicides control disease and enhance plant resilience against stress that can occur during production.

Labeled use sites for Empress Intrinsic brand fungicide include greenhouses, lathhouses and shadehouses, interiorscapes, outdoor nurseries (field and container) and retail nurseries.
