Europe approved Isagro's remedier against esca desease complex

Isagro recently announced that REMEDIER, a proprietary biological product based on Trichoderma asperellum (ICC012) and T. gamsii (ICC080), obtained the final authorization for its use on grapevine against “Esca disease complex”, one of the most serious and incurable disease of grapevine.

“This is an important achievement“, Salvatore Gargano, Group Sales Director of Isagro, said. “REMEDIER is the first agropharma registered in Europe which reports on its label the indication of preventive effectiveness against the entirety of pathogens causing Esca disease complex.”

The authorization for use on grapevine follows the registration renewal for vegetable and ornamental crops till April 30th, 2019 (according to Reg. EU 540/2011). REMEDIER is already known indeed for its control activity of diseases of the radicle apparatus of such crops.

REMEDIER, a result of Isagro Discovery, is formulated through a dedicated “chemical free” line at the Aprila (Italy) plant, following rigorous quality processes granting its microbiological purity; REMEDIER is one of the products of Isagro for biological and integrated crop defense, with a great consideration of operators security and a limited environmental impact.
