Dow AgroScience has obtained Brazil emergency approval for its two insecticides for the control of corn earworms (Helicoverpa spp). The company's Tracer (spinosad)for soybeans and cotton and Intrepid(methoxyfenozide) for cotton. These two products have distinct modes of action to control the caterpillars, which is highly desirable. Tracer and Intrepid are used when the crops are in vegetative development and reproductive.
