AgroPages-China to initiate new imazamox series-Agricultural news

China’s agrochemical company Shandong Yixing Biotechnology is going to initiate an annual 550-ton imazamox series production; at the momentan environmental impact assessment is being carried out, according to .the information from Chinese environmental authorities.

Shandong Yixing Biotechnology is a new player in the pesticide industry, mainly producing herbicide, being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Qiaochang Chemicals that has an annual turnover of Yuan 1.3 billion ($ 213 million at the current rate), ranking No.16 among the Top 20 Chinese Agrochemical Enterprise of Agropages.

According to China Pesticide Registration Watch, up until 17 September 2013 there has been only 1 registration of imazamox technical 97% and 1 registration of imazamox formulation aqueous 4% (registered as against annual weed for soy protection) in China by BSF.
