Isagro and Syngenta enter into a commercial agreement for BADGE WG® fungicideqrcode

Isagro announces that it has entered into an agreement with Syngenta for the supply and distribution of BADGE WG®, a copper based fungicide, in a large number of European countries.

BADGE WG® is an innovative and unique patented formulation of copper oxychloride and copper hydroxide which combines the technical advantages of two different copper salts, providing a prompt and high level of control of downy mildew and other fungal and bacterial diseases of grapes, fruit trees and vegetables at lower rate of application; BADGE WG® is also approved for use in organic farming.

This agreement will grant Isagro access to the strong marketing and distribution network of Syngenta, who is constantly expanding its portfolio of high-performing integrated crop solutions. Syngenta, will undertake the distribution of BADGE WG® on an exclusive basis in: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia and will operate as non-exclusive distributor in Italy and Spain. In few selected countries Syngenta will distribute BADGE WG® under its own trademark.

“This agreement confirms our commitment to provide innovative and modern solutions to copper based fungicide and consolidates the leadership position of Isagro in such segment, while being coherent with our strategy of establishing long term commercial partnership with industry leaders with the target of maximizing the extraction of value from our proprietary products” – said Giorgio Basile, President and C.E.O. of Isagro.

Further terms of the commercial agreement were not disclosed.
