BASF and Nidera join to keep developing seed treatment

Based on a long tradition of cooperation, Nidera and BASF decided to join so as to keep developing the professional seed treatment (TPS, in Spanish). This technology provides more protection, facilitates logistics and sowing, and gives the exact dose of the product to each seed. Additionally, the treatment at source provides a differentiation that promotes the certified autogamous seed market.

On this first stage, the agreement focuses on soybean crop. The following stage is to extend this cooperation for professional seed treatment to new crops.

Nidera seed with TPS consists of Nidera’s soybean varieties selected according to high quality standards, with the professional administration of treatment and inoculants at source using special equipment. As for BASF, they propose a solution for professional soybean seed treatment near the producer, based on innovative products, top quality technologies and professional customer service.
