The Swiss biological company Andermatt Biocontrol AG, a leader in development, production and sales of baculoviruses, beneficial insects and mechanical rodent traps, founded its Dutch subsidiary Andermatt Holland BV in July 2013.

The goal of the new company is to provide better market penetration for Andermatt products in the Dutch market. The existing relationship with Koppert and BASF regarding the distribution of the codling moth granulovirus product Madex Plus will not be affected and will continue as before.

Wijnand van Rossum, the new Managing Director and Co-Shareholder of Andermatt Holland is excited about his task within the new company.

“The portfolio consists of high value products for the protected crop sector, but also for outdoor crops as well as for home and garden.”

“It is part of our strategy to improve our market presence with our products all over the world. The founding of Andermatt Holland therefore fits perfectly into our strategy”, says Daniel Zingg, Managing Director of Andermatt Biocontrol.
