Lanfeng Biochemical set up subsidiary to expand overseas business

Chinese agrochemical company Jiangsu Lanfeng Biochemical has made a Yuan 10 billion ($1.6 million at the current rate) investment to set up a fully owned subsidiary in Suzhou,Jiangsu Province for more efficient development of its international business and cooperation.

The new subsidiary named Lanfeng Import and Export will not only be engage in the import and export business of pesticides, but also be active in seeking OEM business opportunity with multinational companies.  “We have good QA and ESH system to support the OEM business. ” Mr. Liang Huazhong, CEO of Lanfeng Biochemical told Agropages.

As the largest manufacturer of thiophanate-methyl and the major supplier of carbendazim and hexazinone in China, Lanfeng Biochemcial has exported its products to U.S, Brazil, Argentina, as well as the countries in Southeast Asia and Europe.
 
The company expects to take the newly set subsidiary as a springboard to distribute more products worldwide. These products include: Neodecanoyl chloride, 2-Ethylhexanoyl chloride, carbendazim, thiophanate-methyl, benomyl, iprodione, hexazinone, diuron, carbofuran, acephate, pyrethroid, and fine chemical intermediates ethyl, ethyl, cyclohexyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate.
