Sumitomo Chemical sales flat in FY2012

JapanIn the area of crop protection chemicals, shipments of herbicides and other products rose,especially in overseas markets, due to increased production capacity and sales expansion.But shipments of household insecticides and the long-lasting insecticidal mosquito net,Olyset® Net, decreased. Market prices of the feed additive methionine declined.
