1516339048586.jpgAfter a meeting of the Board of Directors of CCAB Agro, representatives of the shareholders from InVivo and representatives of Brazilian cooperatives from CCAB Participações appointed Eric Seban as CEO of the entity. The decision took place on December 9th, 2020 and will become effective on January 1st, 2021. Seban resides in Brazil and has worked for several months with the board and Jones Yasuda, who had been in this CEO role for six years.

"Jones Yasuda, who has largely contributed to the success of CCAB Agro in the Brazilian market, will continue to support CCAB Agro," said the company in a statement.

“Very well positioned in the crop protection area, CCAB Agro is a unique platform, created by Brazilian farmers who face crop planting challenges. Supported by a portfolio of top-level registrations in the post-patent crop protection products market in Brazil, CCAB Agro benefits from the support of its shareholder, InVivo Group, and from access to the single market, mainly in the Brazilian Cerrado” said the document sent to the press.

CCAB Agro also informed that it will continue to “develop a very close relationship with its farmers and the more than 20 shareholder cooperatives, in some of the most important states in Brazilian agriculture, such as Mato Grosso, Bahia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás and Minas Gerais, in addition to strengthening the relationship with commercial partners throughout Brazil, via the Cropline platform".

Eric Seban

Eric has worked at InVivo Group since 2015, acting as Development Director at Bioline by InVivo since March 2016. He is a graduate of the Institut d'études politiques de Toulouse, ESCEM (Business School) and Stanford Graduate School of Business. He started his career at Procter & Gamble in France and then at Danone for ten years. He held, mainly, commercial development functions, before joining InVivo and Bioline.

Eric Seban is based in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, at the headquarters of CCAB Agro, and will lead a team of 65 employees.

“I and the entire CCAB board are extremely grateful for Jones' work. Eric's arrival is a great chance and a real opportunity for us to accelerate the growth of our CCAB project for Brazilian cooperatives and farmers”, stated the chairman of the Board of CCAB Participações, Milton Garbugio.

“I had the opportunity to work with the CCAB team for the past 3 years, since InVivo's investment in CCAB. This nomination is an honor for me and I am very motivated to lead this company, alongside Brazilian cooperatives and farmers”, comments Eric Seban, future CEO of CCAB Agro from January 2021.
