Products containing bifenthrin，diphenylamine or triazoxide to be withdrawn from the market

Regulatory Update 24/2009 and Regulatory Update 25/2009 provided notification of the future withdrawal of diphenylamine, triazoxide (Regulatory Update 24/2009) and bifenthrin (Regulatory Update 25/2009) from the plant protection products market. This Regulatory Update now provides the dates for withdrawal of products containing diphenylamine, triazoxide or bifenthrin.
The EC Decision for diphenylamine (2009/859/EC) and for triazoxide (2009/860/EC) were published on 1 December 2009 and bifenthrin (2009/887/EC) was published on 4 December 2009. The UK has one professional product for diphenylamine, four professional products for triazoxide and three professional products and eighteen amateur products for bifenthrin that must now be revoked in order to withdraw these products from the market and comply with the EC Decision.
Approval for the advertisement, sale and supply of the products by anyone will be revoked / withdrawn from 30 May 2010. Approval will be given until 30 May 2011 for storage and use of the products by anyone.
