On July 25, Bayer CropScience met consultants, producers, researchers, agronomists and technical representatives for a day of interaction and knowledge. The Serenade Meeting, held in Campinas, Brazil,  received Dr. Denise Manker, researcher responsible for developing the biological fungicide Serenade ® (Bacillus subtilis strain QST 713).

Besides the presentation of the researcher on the process of product development, the Meeting Serenade also counted with a lecture given by an expert in biological, Dr. Celso Tomita.

Denise Manker, Bayer USA, came to the event in Campinas and a lecture on "Biological Control of Disease," presented at the XIII Enfrute, the main event of fruit in Brazil, what happened recently in Fraiburgo (SC).

For the manager of marketing strategy for Hortifruti, Waldemar Sanchez, "the meeting is another step to consolidate the Bayer company as integrated solutions, helping producers to produce more and better quality."

About Serenade ® - The fungicide / bactericide Bayer CropScience integrates portfolio in Brazil for crops of apple, strawberry and onion, acting as an ally of the farmer in disease control and management of resistance to fungicides (rotating biological and chemical) that can compromise and much plant productivity and the final quality of what is produced.

The Serenade ® excels by providing even more flexibility in application without intervals between applications and harvest, therefore an essential tool for the management of maximum residue limits.

In addition, the physiological effects of the product within the management program provided by Bayer CropScience provide more vigorous plants with improved growth response and resistant to diseases, thus providing more fruit and vegetable quality.
